Create programs at institutions of higher education to
offer computer science to pre-service teachers
In 2019, the ALSDE developed the “Educator Preparation" Standards for Colleges of Education who desire to implement a pre-service CS program. These standards were passed by the Alabama Board of Education in September 2019 and sent to all Deans of Colleges of Education.
