CSPdWeek provides schools with the opportunity to build their own pathways for students to learn Computer Science (CS) across grades 9-12. A collection of workshops during the week of July 10 - 14, 2023 will help high schools satisfy the new legislation that requires an endorsed CS course in each school. During the summer of 2023 and in the summers to follow, there will be multiple opportunities for professional learning in CS. Below is a description of the 2023 CSPdWeek activities, as part of the Pathways for Alabama Computer Science (PACS). The goal is to build pathways of CS courses at schools over the four-year duration of our project. Schools may seek additional training over multiple summers to expand their CS pathway offerings.
CSPdWeek 2023 will take place at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa.
